Over the past few years I’ve toyed with the idea that I would like to start my own consultancy business, but there’s always been an excuse.
- The kids are too small
- I’m too busy
- The economy is struggling
- Self doubt (lots of this one)
Then, this year a couple of milestones happened. I turned the big 4 0 and my baby started school.
With a bit of extra time I decided to upskill and complete the Diploma of Business (Digital Marketing) (almost there!).
While working on a couple of special marketing projects I felt the fire in my tummy again and I realised I do have valuable skills to offer proactive local business people.
I’d planned to launch in July however before I had the chance to ‘go to market’ a few business people got wind of my plans and the next thing I knew I already had a client portfolio!
So here I am, in my 40th year, putting my big girl panties on and owning the boss swagger.
I’m ready to share my 16 years of marketing experience with you via this blog and my business as I genuinely believe the skills I can offer will benefit your business.
I’ll try to post a blog each week, with my next one titled, “Stop with the Facebook competitions!”
The journey begins…x
